Staying informed when learners complete your course can help you take timely action â whether thatâs issuing certificates, following up with feedback, or simply tracking engagement in real time.
ProProfs Training Maker lets you enable alerts with just a few clicks â no extra setup, coding, or integrations are needed.
Why turn on course notifications?
Notifications can help you:
-
Monitor activity across high-enrollment courses
-
Track compliance deadlines for required training
-
Follow up with learners immediately after they complete a module
-
Support onboarding or certification workflows
-
Alert multiple team members (e.g., HR or supervisors) automatically
How to enable course notifications
Step 1: Go to "My Courses".
Step 2: Click on "Edit Course Settings"

FAQs
Can I get notified only when someone passes a quiz or assessment?
Not by default. Course notifications are triggered by activity, not outcomes. However, if you're using automated certification or reports, you can still track completions or scores from the dashboard.
Can notifications go to multiple people on my team?
Currently, notifications are tied to the course owner's email. For shared visibility, you can forward notifications via rules in your email client or add team members as co-instructors with access to reports.
Will learners get notified too?
Yes â if youâve enabled automated reminders, completion certificates, or drip emails, learners will also receive relevant emails during their course journey.
Can I customize the email message?
Course owner alerts are system-generated and not customizable. However, you can edit the templates in the Settings section for learner-facing messages like drip emails or certificate notifications.
