How to Sell Online Courses
Selling a course is easy with ProProfs. You can list them directly on your own website or through the ProProfs Store without dealing with hosting, third-party plugins, or setup fees. 1. How to set a price for your course
Any new course you create is free. The first step to selling your course is to add pricing.
Step 1. Go to the settings of the course you want to sell.
Step 2. Go to the tab Market & Sell and click on Free to open the price settings.
Step 3. The screenshot below explains how to enable pricing for a course.
1. Set the amount you’d like to charge.
2. Choose your currency. ProProfs offers 15 currencies to choose from.
3. Control course availability for buyers. This will be applicable from the date of purchase.
4. Enable Public Listing to list your course on ProProfs Store.
5. Click Set Price to save pricing settings.
Step 4. Click Save to apply the changes.
2. How to find your course listing on ProProfs Store
Step 5. Once you've added the price, the View Store option is now available to you. Click it.
Step 6. The screenshot below shows how your course appears on the ProProfs Store. Anybody who’d like to purchase it can click Buy.
3. How to View Your Orders
Click View Orders to see the number of orders you’ve received for all your courses listed in your ProProfs Store account.
The screenshot below is a representation of the number of orders received. You can see various information such as the purchase date, product, product price, buyer name, country, state, the order status, etc.
4. How to View Transactions
Click View Payments Received to see the total payment amount you’ve received for your orders as well as total transactions.
The table below shows the total payment amount and transaction numbers, as well as all your orders and buyer details.
5. How to Customize your ProProfs Store Account
The Market & Sell section in course settings gives you direct access to your seller account. Just click View Seller Account to do so.
The screenshot below is a representation of your seller account.
To access your seller account, click the profile icon at the top right corner and click My Account.
Go to My Store, where you can find all the relevant links to view your orders, sales, payments, etc.

- Bundle courses for higher-value sales or tiered offerings.
- Add a short video or quiz preview to give buyers a feel for the course.
- Communicate access duration clearly on your product page, especially for time-limited trainings.

Yes. You can embed courses or link them from your site. Buyers will still complete the transaction through ProProfs.

Payments are handled via Stripe. You can choose between instant payouts or scheduled payments.
Can I offer a free trial before someone buys?
ProProfs currently supports free course previews via custom content setup, but not time-limited trials.
Can I use my own domain for selling courses?
While courses are hosted on ProProfs, you can white-label your store and link it from your branded site or domain.
