How to Change Usernames
Usernames cannot be changed directly from your dashboard. To keep reporting accurate and avoid confusion in user data, username updates are processed manually and are only available to premium users.
Who Can Request a Username Change?
Only users on a Business Premium or Educational Premium plan can request a username change. This option is not available for free accounts.
Why Username Changes Are Limited
Usernames are connected to learner progress, quiz scores, certificates, and reports. If changed without proper review, it can lead to:

Broken progress tracking
To avoid these issues, ProProfs processes each change request manually after account verification.
How to Request a Username Change
If you're a premium user and need to update a username, email support@proprofs.com with:

'Username Change Request - Premium Account'

Your ProProfs account email or username
-
The current username you want to change
-
The new username you'd like to use
-
Whether you're on a Business or Educational plan
What Happens Next

ProProfs Support will respond within 1 to 2 business days

The username will be updated manually on your behalf

All learner data will remain intact and linked to the new username
